一个校园,一本书

一个校园,一本书

一个校园,一本书 (OCOB) is a program designed by the 大学图书馆 to encourage a common reading experience 和 sense of community at California State University, 洛杉矶. We aim to stimulate a shared experience through reading, to inspire 和 support community conversations, 和 to encourage academic enhancement through cross-curricular partnerships.

The 加州大学洛杉矶分校 大学图书馆 creates a shortlist of finalists for our 一个校园,一本书 selection in spring. The campus community is invited to vote for their selection from the finalists, 和 the winner is chosen prior to the fall semester. 每个秋季学期, many classes read the OCOB selection 和 the 大学图书馆 plans events around the selection. Past events have included creative workshops, 演讲嘉宾, community panels featuring faculty, 工作人员, 学生, 和客人, 和问&A discussions with OCOB selection authors.
